How to post an Instagram grid
- Upload your photo and pick how many rows you want.
- Download the tiles. Each one is numbered.
- Post them in order, starting with tile 1 (bottom right) and ending with the top left tile.
Instagram shows your newest post first, at the top left of your profile. That is why the grid has to be posted from the last tile to the first.
Which tile shape should I choose?
Instagram's profile grid now shows posts as 3:4 portrait thumbnails. Choose 3:4 if you want the picture to line up seamlessly on your profile. Choose 1:1 if you want square posts in the feed.

Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The image is split inside your browser and never leaves your device.
What size are the tiles?
Each tile is 1080 pixels wide, the width Instagram uses for full-quality posts.
Can I post the grid as a carousel?
You can, but a grid only appears as one big picture on your profile when every tile is a separate post.
