Will they know I watched their story?
No. When you watch a story in the Instagram app, your account is added to the viewer list. IGKit loads the story without your account, so nothing links the view to you.
What can be viewed
- Public accounts only. Private accounts' stories are only visible to approved followers, and we do not try to get around that.
- Active stories. Stories disappear after 24 hours unless the owner saves them to highlights.
- Profile pictures in HD. Tap the profile picture to download it in full size.

Yes. After you search a public account, tap View highlights and pick one. Highlights opened here do not add you to the viewers list either.
Can I see stories if the account blocked me?
If the account is public, yes. IGKit loads public stories without your Instagram account, so a block on your account does not apply here. Please respect people: do not use this to harass or follow someone who wants distance.
